Hi.

 

Does the Thai consulate in Savannakhet not issue the Visa at the same day? Can someone confirm that.

 

Btw; I know a Laos Women who are living in Thailand since 15 Years. She go either Monthly to Laos (since she lives just close to the border) for a visa exempt entry or she does a SETV.

 

It seems, this visa exempt entries / TR Visa doesn't get count for Lao nationals. She never had a problem to re-enter Thailand.

It is the next afternoon after applying the morning of one day at Savannakhet for all visas.

They are lenient for Laotians getting visa exempt entries since they are done under a bilateral agreement. Perhaps they don't restrict them for fear of Laos dong the same for Thais.
