In general is it traffic police man, the one that stop bikers and write tickets, is it job restricted to thais only? Or foreginers can do it?

 

 

 

A real traffic cop can only be Thai. There are some westerners that like to dress up and play the part. Anytime one of the "dress up gang" is waving me over, I just keep going.

yeh, im being stopped everyother day by farang, I am all legal, and got big bike that there is not many around so they must remember it. Once they stop me 3 times on 1 roundabout going around it.

 

Next time they stop me I am going to ask them for police ID, if not present I will not talk to them not show DL, tell them they illegal.

 

 

Well they could be legal if they got thai passports right? Live here long enough, which I doubt they do.

 

 

And then, how they can write tickets, they no WP as well i guess.

 

So basicaly they be fake cops.

 

They always around thai cops tho, never saw them on thier own.

 

But they stop and write, and wear uniforms.

 

 

Heres best part, yesterday I say white kid, think russian, may b 16 years old, with brown uniform, in a police box.
