Officials from relevant agencies discuss Thailand’s climate-change mitigation strategies and the agenda to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at a session held by NOW26 TV channel yesterday.

BANGKOK:-- THE government is confident that Thailand will achieve the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20 per cent within 2020, but is calling on all citizens to participate in the effort to meet an even more ambitious goal by 2025.

At a seminar “Thailand Agenda and the Climate Change Crisis”, held by Banchak Petroleum Pcl and Krungthep Turakij yesterday, representatives from relevant agencies confirmed that Thailand can achieve the goal it pledged in the Paris Agreement of helping to keep rising world temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius.

Sorry to sound negative. But, what exactly are these efforts - I have seen no evidence of what they are and how people are meant to participate in them?

More cars on the road, greater demand for tech goods and shopping malls that use more electricity than entire provinces. The public are participating in these efforts, that''s for sure.

Given the photo and these sterling efforts by the public is the aim to raise temp  by 2 degrees?

Maybe they want the 66  million citizens to stop breathing for a day, that will cut down on the CO2 emissions and the population as well.  They really have no clue and are just allowing the globalists, who are leading them by the nose. It will just end with the  :hit-the-fan::wai:

How many 'experts' flew in on a Gulfstream jet?  More climate change nonsense for the weak of mind.

Said the "experts" while wearing a full suit when it's over 30 degree's celcius in the whole country.

And where can we buy double thermopane windows? Have you ever seen a well insulated house/building anywhere?

When will they fix the traffic-congestion? Costs loads of extra fuel especially for all those far too big cars they even can't drive/park.

Or those smelly ancient buses who blow huge black fumes into the city?

But they are sure Thailand can do it :passifier:

Even if Thailand would cut CO2 by 100% to zero the atmosphere would not even notice it !!!

Total CO2 in the atmosphere: 0.036%

Out of this 0.036% it's about 6% man made !

Thailand produces maybe 0.1% out of these 6% from 0.036% .... that's quite many zeros AFTER the comma if you calculate it !

... common sense is completely out of this discussion ! Plain madness and insanity, nothing else.

0.036% in decimal is 0.0036

6% in decimal is 0.06

0.1% in decimal is 0.001

=> 0.0036 x 0.06 x 0.001 = 0.000 000 216 * 100 = 0.0000216%

Next you tell me is that the oceans get acidic because I peed into it :passifier:

Lol... whilst researching why my pool turned green, I read an article saying that chlorination of the pool needed to include a lot of factors, including how many people peed in it.
