moondragon
Hello all, Coming to Thailand for first time and wondering if I should buy a digital camera in U.S. or wait until I get to Bangkok. I can get a decent 3 megapixel camera here for about US$175.00 How are prices in BKK? Also, can anyone tell me a low-cost phonecard to call from Bangkok to Los Angeles? Thanks all! Cheers, Micheal

cyber_cynic
Cameras are cheaper in the US. For cheap calls to the US use a callback service. This can also be set up for a mobile/cell phone.
cathyy
For cheap calls to the US use a mobile phone. I went with DTAC prepaid, 300 baht cards. I was able to call the US for twenty minutes at a time for well under the 300. One twenty minute call from the US to my mobile was about $40. Do the math.
