Kritrada ‘Zomy’ Tabtimphol answers questions from a police officer Tuesday at Huai Khwang Police Station in Bangkok.

BANGKOK — Drugs were found in the system of a successful online personality who crashed her BMW into eight cars on a busy road in Bangkok earlier this month, police said Tuesday.

Citing a hospital lab test result, police charged  Kritrada “Zomy” Tabtimphol with driving under the influence of narcotics, reckless driving, driving without a license and causing damages and injuries with her driving. Kritlada denied the first two charges and conceded the rest, a police officer said.

I had suspected all along from the video clip that her mental lapses and emotional outbursts were due to drug abuse...

500 baht fine. Next!

charge her and make her compensate in full to all damages incurred.

Unless things have changed drastically in the past few years, the only test for actual 'impairment' is for alcohol.  Tests for other drugs such as cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, barbiturates, etc., can only identify that there was the presence of metabolites of these drugs in a person's system. Obviously, she was high on something. Could have been something they didn't even test for like psilocybin or mescaline. However, there are no measurable standards for impairment for these drugs. Only past use.

“She contested the reckless driving, too. She said it wasn’t her fault, she said some cars were blocking her way.”

You've got to love the gall of this idiot. She was on a busy road and cars were in her way. OK then...................... :passifier:

She has an expensive car like that and hasn't even bothered to get a driver's license? I suppose that means she isn't insured ..or she pays for insurance ...as she has financed her car, but will get no payments from them due to this lapse in judgement??

It stands to reason. Big money, big tits and a small brain.

After all she's a baht millionaire. It doesn't take much to be a millionaire in Thailand. After all everyone in Zimbabwe is a millionaire.

if she needs a shoulder to cry on mine is available.

They can test her hair for drug use. How far back depends on the length of the hairs. That will even work when all metabolites left her body long ago. Standard drug test will show the use of meth approximately one week after the last use.

Could actually had been a big brain that zombified by prolong drug abuse...

There you have it. She is totally innocent. Blame it on the drugs and go after the dealer......poor girl......um make that poor rich girl.

It's okay! She's high society just like Sek from Loso. A slap on the wrist and a small fine. Meanwhile, Briton Lance Whitmore and Australian Jake Mastroianni are given 50 years each in Thai prison for selling meth. The Thai justice system is a joke.

This is bad....after a couple of years of court delays and proceedings she could end up paying a a fine of a couple thousands baht.

Absolutely right. It tests for use but there are no standards for 'impairment'.

Now we have a hi so pea brain driver. If she wasn't under the influence of drugs or alcohol I bet she would not have done what she did! Do not need a test for impairment.

Oh ye of little taste.

I support the legalising of all drugs, for pragmatic reasons. BUT I believe if your drug use (alcohol is he worst drug by far) let me repeat, if your drug use impacts OTHER PEOPLE then you MUST be prepared to face justice. Lock her up!

No different to the hiso tart who killed 9 people and was sentenced to 3 months "work" in a hospital at her convenience.

Rules for the Bangkok rich and rules for the everywhere else poor.

And legalising would allow science to formulate tests. It is clear that drugs in a person's system, do not necessarily reflect incapacity. Alcohol is clear cut. Other drugs are a mystery because the genius DEA shut down research, now we find some drugs are actually better medicine than the shit big pharma feed us, fancy that!

But to return to topic. When everyone calms the f###k down, police tests could be formulated to test and punish those who take (soon to be legal) drugs and then drive or do other stupid shit.

The bulk of the population should never be penalized because idiots screw up. That shit needs to end at kindergarten, and I'm not even sure if it is a fair way to regulate kids aged five, let alone adults.

yes, the old story.... get out of MY way... or they were in MY way

The OP photo is undoubtedly one of the worst of Zomy.
She should settle any damage quickly,
She should get a punishment for driving without driving license, under Meth influence, 8 cars crashed and people injured,
and
she should urgently change her hairdresser.

now I understand why jenpop became a monk - as an excuse to cut his hair

No doubt, tomorrow we will read in the news that she will be following the standard Thai modus operandi of shaven head, temple visit, in a veiled act of contrition..

Do I need to point out there is a massive difference between being charged with consuming than there is for sale/ distribution?  Although your right about the Hi-so's they are allowed to get away with murder, literally.

Do the temples have an area where female hiso can go and all is forgiven and disapears.  I know she can't be a monk.

The question now is; how much is it going to cost her for a get out of jail free card?
