Rice cooker lid

Featured Replies

Anyone know how to remove the tin plate in the lid of an electric rice cooker?

As it contains the steam hole, I can imagine that between that tin plate and the plastic lid a lot of dirt is collected, but I don't see any way to remove it.

Google, Google, Google. works every time.

I'm sure I would have figured that out by myself..............if I had such a such a cooker. Unfortunately mine isn't like that with the tine plate just wiggling in the lid.

My bad actually for not posting which rice cooker I have, as I didn't realise that there are so many different types.

I have a Hitachi RZ-PM10

Clean & care ... inner lid. step by step.

That was almost perfect, if only you had the right model

Any way thanks for the link, as it put me in the right direction. It seems that the model I have the inner lid can not be removed.
