Great news!  Now if only they can break the taxi mafia and let us have real metered taxis!  Grab Taxi is OK, but still a bit pricey and not always available or nearby.

I would not call a service "okay" that charges five times the fare that Taxis in the nearby capital of the country charge. Time for UBER in Pattaya too. If CM can do it, PTY should be able too....

About freaking time. I had my tyre slashed after unknowingly parking for 5 minutes in their non-marked "taxi zone". Hate them!

Seems they don't like you!

majority of Thais come from villages, agrarian communities, fishing villages and towns and cities.

wow a major breakthrough  in the thought process

Exactly what is the point of the police, if everything must be done by the army?

That's crazy,  They used to give dates, times, and places.  Now, people are going to get in temporary trouble unnecessarily.

I drove past the entrance to WS a short while ago and the police are doing a brilliant job. No parked taxis and no traffic jam at all.

Absolutely first class.
