BANGKOK, 2 December 2016 (NNT) - Mr. Glyn T. Davies, the United States Ambassador to Thailand today holds the Buddhist Chanting Memorial Service on the Panyasamavara Rites of His Majesty the Late King at Wat Bovoranives Vihara together with the staffs of United States Embassy to Thailand in remembrance of 50th day of His Majesty the Late King decease. 

Mr. Glyn says he aims to turn over the moment of sorrow to the realization and gratitude to His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's legacy. Moreover, he plans to hold other activities in remembrance at Sanarm Luang. 

During the sermon of Venerable Phra Shakyavongsvisuddhi, Assistant abbot of Wat Bovoranives Vihara, he praises His Majesty the Late King as the World Development King as he had initiated more than four thousand projects in various areas and contributed benefits to Thailand and the world as a whole. He considered the subjects' happiness as his own so he improved and developed livelihood of the citizens in sustainable way. His Majesty the Late King practiced his life in sustainable way which protect him in his living. 

Wat Bowonniwet Vihara Rajavaravihara Royal Monastery, built in Rama III era is also organized for royal function.
