Power Bank for Smartphone in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Where to find a decent power bank? My battery is 2800mah strong. I would like to charge the device 2 times. So a 10000mah power bank would be enough. Correct? I looked at Lazada. But closed the website after 20 seconds. 50000mah power banks for 149 Baht? Serious? Must be fake or the cheapest garbage on earth.

May be someone can suggest a shop in Pattaya which sells real brand power banks.

The "eLoop" brand seems to be of reasonable quality.

The granddaughter bought such stuff in our upcountry district town, so I risk a bet:

you will get it at about every major place where mobile phones and electronic staff are on offer.

tukcom, Harbor Mall,  PowerBuy shops...

Thanks for your answer.

Something is wrong here. In general, electronic products are more expensive in Thailand than in Europe. That's for sure. Notebooks, Smartphones and so on. I looked at some Thai online stores for eLoop power banks. This brand is obviously very popular here. Then i looked for the same brand and model in Europe. Not many shops in Europe offers this brand. But in Europe, it costs more than double. That makes no sense. Power banks from other brands with similar specifications are as well in the same price category.

So i wonder why they here so cheap. a eLoop 13000mAh for about 15 Euro in Thailand and about 30 Euro in Europe? Can't be. May be everything is fake here. I saw on the Power Buy Thai website a Sony device 5000mAh for 950 Baht. Other less known brands in the same price area. That's a normal price which i found also on European websites.

To me, it looks, La*ada and all this dodgy shops in Tukcom are selling some fake crap. I don't want a battery which might explode every minute. lol

So, probably i go for an Sony device, if i found a real 10000mAh bank. At least i know this brand and the prices seems to make sense.

Look at that; http://www.lazada.co.th/maker-miniso-power-bank-50000-mah-ak-black-usb-3-in-1-7752568.html

50 000 mAh for 189Baht? Serious? Are they kidding us?

Here we go: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Fake-capacity-power-banks-exposed-or-why-you-should-buy-genuine-accessories_id78146

Better stay away from this fake banks and pay more for a reliable brand.

Mine is 24000mAh, it  is very solid, and it performs very well.It is very easy to use, and simply plugs into an open usb port on your computer to charge. After the power bank is fully charged, I can charge my Samsung Galaxy S5 about 7 times, that's the main reason why I choose this huge Selectec High Capacity External Backup. There are 2 ports to charge USB devices,so it usually charge my wife's phone and my phone at the same time with high speed.
