looking to decorate my garden wall with sandstone reliefs. Any idea where in Pattaya is a place with decent place/shop with a wide range of motives/sizes.

This place has some (maybe not a wide range) - On sukhumvit road (northbound), just before Pattaya Nua road. They have a car park at the rear - take the small lane which is the last turning before Nua.

 

If you don't find what you want there, carry on to the end of the lane and turn right. About 150m on the left is this place...

 

You may also find some at this place on Sukhumvit road, past BPH and the Honda dealership, on the left opposite the U-turn...

 

I see these things in lots of garden centres, but never what could be called a wide range.

 

In the square in front of Homeworks there is a range of plaster/concrete statues, fountains and wall reliefs (expensive), I seem to recall that they have a catalogue - maybe worth a look.

There's lots of these little stone shops around the place, the trouble is spotting them as you whiz past.

 

My builder uses one on Soi Nern Plub Wan, but where up there I have no idea. I found one on Suk that I use as it's closer to home. Heading north on Suk from the Post Office just after Jomtien Second Road meets Suk , go through the lights at Soi Chayapruek and then slow down to a crawl or you'll miss it. The stone shop is a few hundred yards on your left. The stone reliefs and what have you are kept around the side at the back.

This place actually makes the reliefs your looking for ... lots and lots and lots of them sitting in the warehouse ... you can't miss it ... on the left side as you come from Pattaya. Big warehouse door wide open with all the completed designs there. A very cool place ... and cheaper than Pattaya proper
