BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said Wednesday that the cabinet reshuffle list was yet to be completed following the resignation of Justice Minister Paiboon Kumchaya and Education Minister Dapong Rattanasuban – both of whom were appointed privy councilors.

While the reshuffle list is not completed yet, Deputy Prime Minister Wisanu Krea-ngam and Deputy Education Minister Thirakiat Charoensethsilp, were appointed acting justice and education ministers respectively.

However, the prime minister said that the appointment of the new justice and education ministers would be done concurrently with the appointment of the new minister of digital economy and society.

Or maybe waiting for the envelopes to start arriving.

Would be great if you were part of the reshuffle.

You better watch out,
You better not cry,
You better not pout,
I'm telling you why:
Santa Claus is coming to town!

He's making a list,
And checking it twice,
Gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town!
He sees you when you're sleeping,
He knows when you're awake.
He knows when you've been bad or good,
So be good for goodness sake!

he named himself PM. so easy just use guns et get yourself called Prime minister.

Would it be too much to ask not to have a career soldier in charge of the education of millions of young people again? Probably...

Positions will be decided by quality of exercising.

wow, another "cabinet reshuffle", ...

could almost be fooled into thinking that this was a legitimate, functional government... :coffee1:

In Prayut's 2015 cabinet reshuffle, none of the generals were ousted from the 34-member Cabinet while 11 civilians were removed. Political scientist and former rector of Ramkhamhaeng University, Sukhum Nuansakul said the shuffle showed how military officers are considered more capable, compared with civilian politicians in the current political context.

Under the "democratic soldier" General Prayut the government is merely an extension of military command. Any representation of the Thai electorate in his government is an unnecessary impediment.

How hard can it be to shuffle the deck the way you want it (especially when you're holding all the Aces) ???

Unless, of course, there's simply too many Jokers in the pack !!!

The problem may be having too many cronies and trying to keep them all happy.

Military officers are a tricky bunch as if they get upset, lose face etc they have the ability to form an opposition faction.

He could of course break with tradition and appoint people on the basis of ability and competency.

Yes, I know, I wasn't being in the least bit serious !

All bids not yet submitted.
