Tubes

Featured Replies

Looking for a shop that carries tubes/valves.

Specifically ECC88, E88CC, 6922, 6N23P, 6N11, or 6DJ8.  NOS would be interesting to purchase and roll into my amp.

Thanks.

I haven't used them as the tubes I have sound fine, but the only Thai source I found was at www.diyamp.com. Based in Bangkok somewhere.

Thanks.  They only have two types of the tubes I'm looking for.

And btw, that shop is in the TPI Tower according to my not-so-good-Thai (26/24 (ใก้ลตึกทีพีไอ) ถ.จันทน์ตัดใหม่ แขวงทุ่งมหาเมฆ เขตสาทร กรุงเทพฯ 10120)

Try TS Audio

Address: 1895/109, 1895/109 พหลโยธิน Lat Yao, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900, Thailand
Phone: +66 2 579 9770

You might also try looking for guitar shops those valves you list are fairly common in both audio and guitar amps.

Amarin Plaza used to have 2 or 3 high end shops. Have seen Krell and Magneplanar in there but its been a long time since I was in there.

Just found http://www.kssons.com  They sell Audio Research and Mcintosh, amongst others, so should have some of those valves.

Most major hifi suppliers advertise on www.noom-hifi.com/webboard . You could do a search for these tubes too.  Otherwise walk around the 3rd floor of Fortune where there are some very nice valve amp shops.

Vinyl Diehards on Srinakarin Road across from Paradise Park has lots of tubes of all types. Owner doesn't speak much English, but you can write the tubes your looking for and he'll show you. I recently bought a GZ34 rectifier tube from him.
