I have a new key fob and need change over internals and get new key cut any ideas?

Try close to any Tesco theres  usually someone there inside if  you dont get any other recommendations

My understanding is that each key has a unique chip and the car has to be programed to recognize it. So, you are pretty well stuck with going to the dealer and paying twice - first for a Kia key and secondly for the mechanic to tell the car that the new key belongs to it.
