Recent Penang SETV anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Planning a second (back to back) SETV run to Penang.  My 6th SETV in this passport.

During this free visa bonanza, are they less inclined to issue visas??

Any recent experience appreciated.

Cheers

??

There are many reports about getting a visa in Penang on the forum.

If you have not gotten a visa before in Penang you will not have a problem getting one.

I just got the remark stamp ("the holder of this passport traveled to Thailand under a tourist visa several times which may result in the refusal of a visa in the future") from my last SETV in Vientiane. Since I obtained all of my visas for Thailand there (two METV and two SETVs), would you say that getting another SETV in Penang should go without any problem ? And would I need to bring more documentation than in Vientiane (where none was required) ?
