BANGKOK, 12 December 2016 (NNT) - The Community Development Department organizes a grand regional OTOP fair in Phuket. This year’s event takes “The Treasure of Wisdom Parade” as its theme.

Director of the Bureau of Local Wisdom and Community Enterprise Promotion Supakorn Moonsuwan said the department organized a large OTOP fair in five provinces representing all four regions from 30 November 2016 to 12 January 2017. The provinces include Ubon Ratchathani, Ayutthaya, Khon Kaen, Phuket and Chiang Mai.

The OTOP fair in Phuket is scheduled for 10-16 December 2016 at Saphan Hin in Mueang district. There are more than 300 booths selling OTOP products from all areas across the country.

The department expects that the OTOP fair in Phuket will help people in Phuket as well as nearby provinces to learn more about OTOP products from other regions and use the knowledge to improve their own products.

The OTOP fair in Phuket is expected to generate more than 30 million baht.

"The Treasure of Wisdom Parade"..... if I had a doobie and listened to the Doobie Brothers, that slogan would make perfect sense!
