Time to apply for single entry non-o visa based on retirement.

I am presently holding a setv and when it expires I will go to Vientiane for the non-o. Once in Laos, I will wait a couple of months before applying. Can I do that? or I must have a few days left on my current visa when I appy. Thank you.

• If you have already used the SETV to enter Thailand it is void, and you can apply for a Non 'O' anytime.
• If you have an unused SETV in your passport when applying for a Non 'O' they would almost certainly cancel the SETV and issue a Non 'O'.
