Airports Win Audit Approval

An audit of Cambodia’s airports has shown satisfactory results. The 10-day auditing process was conducted by officials from the United Nations’ International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It was carried out to check on some recommendations after official audits on Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports in October.
 

“The briefing report from audit airports show that the result is rated “satisfactory”, said Sinn Sereyvutha, spokesman for Cambodia’s State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, and added that only a few points of improvement had been recommended. “In general, the briefing report is good because we have prepared for long time,” Mr. Sereyvutha said.
 

“We have structured work, we have workplace and human resources better than before, but it does not mean that we are perfect, we still have problems. “We don’t have significant safety concerns but we have some problems to be resolved.”
