3BB Internet down

Featured Replies

My internet has been down since about 7AM.

3BB are telling me "Big problem internet all Pattaya and Chonburi, not know when fix".

Anyone else with 3BB, down or up?

Thanks

My Internet was down this morning so called 3BB about 0830. They said that the entire Banglamung area was down but that it would be restored in an hour or to. Five minutes later it was back and has been working since (I live in South Pattaya).

Neighbour complained his 3bb in pattaya was down. No problems with my fiber CAT internet.

Confirmed temporary outage mid-morning; say around 7 am to around 9 am. All good now.

There was a fire above the 3BB office on Sukhumvit near the entrance to Soi Khao Noi. Happened this morning so may be connected to the temporary outage. Who knows.

Seen a video of the blaze on the internet but can't track it down at the moment.

Exactly same for me. I called 3bb at 8am. About 30 minutes later internet came back. Jomtien.

there were about 20 workmen fixing  the wires below the fire.

Yes, as always, they will be issuing a credit on your account for this and other times service is interrupted. Same as with the cable TV company.

News topic and pictures of the fire is HERE

Almost 2 PM and still no internet service.  3BB claims that it is the Fiber Optic internet service that has yet to be fixed.  I'm sure that the will get my service back by the 24th, my monthly payment due date (lol).

In Jomtien mine was back on within an hour or two of it going off yesterday morning. The ADSL remained connected the whole time but the login servers were out and, presumably, everything from there on.

The fire was probably caused by the hundreds of loose hanging wires in front of the office.

I passed there yesterday afternoon and there were big works going on by PEA and 3BB from the 3BB office at Khao Noi all the way along sukhumvit to chayapruek tidying up those wires.

I'm surprised that not more fires occur when I see those wires.

Well those works of tidying up the wires will probably have ceased by now.................until the next fire somewhere.
