Question About Studying While Having Work Permit

Featured Replies

I have a quick question.

I'm a foreigner in Bangkok who is in the process of setting up a Web development company. I am currently here on a non-immigrant B visa and the company is already registered with the Thai government. I am now in the process of hiring the Thai staff, getting the office space and other necessary components to apply for a work permit, and this should all be completed in the next two or three months. However, I also plan to go back to school in Bangkok next year (in June I believe) to get my masters. My question is whether there is any problem with going to school while holding a work permit, or in working while also going to school? I wouldn't imagine it would be a problem, but you never know. Hence the reason for the post. Thanks.

That's a relief. Thanks!

I did it, no problem - teaching full-time whilst doing a higher degree at Assumption University. Just bloody hard work, thats all! A full day at school, then 3 hours at university in the evening 4 days a week, and six hours there on Saturday . . . . . . .
