Gen Kampanat Ruddit, a former assistant Army chief and former National Legislative Assembly member, was appointed as a new privy councillor Saturday, raising the number of the Privy Council members to 14.

 

Kampanat Thursday resigned as a member of National Legislative Assembly.

 

He used to be appointed as director of the National Council for Peace and Order's Centre for Reconciliation for Reform.

Congratulations on your new appointment General.  judging by your decorations, you also have a long history of military involvement.
