webfact
Film body wants pirated video websites banned By WATCHIRANONT THONGTEP THE NATION BANGKOK: -- THE NATIONAL Federation of Thai Film Associations has put 36 video-on-demand websites on a blacklist for allegedly offering pirated content and has asked the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to ban them from major Internet service providers (ISPs). Choakchai Chayawatto, director of the federation, said the 36 websites it had named had the most frequent use, but the group believes there are many more pirate sites offering either subscription-based or free-view services. The blacklist includes doo-hd.com, moviehd-free.com, mastermovie-hd.com, ohohd.com, nungonline-hd.com and zabaydee.com. The man from udon
What I see is happening here is the collapse of tv companies such as cth and now true vision having the like of HBO being pulled out because they can't afford them with the low revenues they receive.its a Thai thing really.one person in a village gets a high speed internet connection and hey presto a dozen of the houses around that one connection are on line and watching anything they can get their hands on.my wife is an expert at it.weve seen all the latest films and series's (just watched westworld)and I can watch premierships football and all uk tv in hd for 699 baht a month.why would anyone want to fork out 2,500 baht for true vision platinum service.when I lived in the uk I paid £115 a month and that was without sky sports and most of my neighbors would of been doing the same...unfortunately that won't ever happen here. daveAustin
While they're at it, the film body should probably lobby the government to help remove the millions upon millions of pirated movies available in any market across the nation. No foreigners to blame there though so less incentive.
Wilsonandson
The blacklist includes doo-hd.com, moviehd-free.com, mastermovie-hd.com, ohohd.com, nungonline-hd.com and zabaydee.com. Such elegant and classic website names that have a sophisticated sound conjures up in ones mind what delights have been pirated for ones viewing pleasure. A Victorian Kitchen Garden episode maybe or a spot of cricket from Lords, followed by Chariots of Fire. Taking them offline will stop it from working without VPN, etc as a lot of these freely available KODI plugins seem to be mere a frontends for websites like this - they let you view the videos without the web browser. I dont think so, many of the kodi files are just stored on servers, with random names, and the kodi add ons point to the right stream. Im sure they could trace them with some effort, but then they just change the addresses/domains. An on going battle like the US has with torrent sites. Another example; porn sites - redtube is blocked here, yet through kodi one can still search and access redtube content without a vpn.

Your talking above my pay grade. My friend has Kodi and he uses a local internet provider. He had to change providers as it required more speed.
