Thai Consulate In Singapore

Featured Replies

:D I just returned from the States in November. While I was there I applied for my usual visa and was turned down for the one year Non-Immigrant type " O " visa. The thai consulate in Los Angeles told me they could only give me a two month tourist visa or a 3 month type "O" visa. Please excuse my sarcasm, but you can come to Thailand as any tourist for two months. But if your married , with a son here you can only get one additional month. Makes no sence to me! This is as bad as the John Karr incident. All these ridiculous new requlations regaurding English teachers requiements. I'm sorry but, doing background checks and picking up the phone is not that difficult. I am grateful and respect the fact that I am simply a guest here. I just wish there was a little more comon sence being exercised . Of course, none of us were dragged here against our will. We all chose to come to Thailand on our own.
