BMTA notified to take delivery of first lot of NGV buses on Jan 9-10

 

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has been notified to get ready to take delivery of the first lot of 290 NGV buses from Bestlin Group on January 9-10.

 

BMTA director Surachai Iamwachiraskul told the media on Friday that he had received the notification from Bestlin Group but was not 100 percent sure that the company would be able to deliver the buses as notified.

 

Anyway, he said that he had made available the parking lot for the bus fleet if they could be delivered.

Why.... I mean tax is part of the cost, this way you can try to keep production in your own country. It is a tool to stimulate your internal market. The guy that bid for the contract and got it awarded knew about tax.. he just thought to pull a fast one.
