I am in US now on short visit and will return to Thailand end of this week. I i was issued a retirement visa in 2006 and have had successful extensions since. My present extension expires 12 Feb 2017. The question is: when I left Thailand 3 weeks ago I was living at a rental apt, the same one I used on latest extension application. When I return I will be going to a new rental apt. On my arrival card should I use the address I was at before going to US and put my new apt address on my new extension request in about 2 weeks or put new address on arrival card? My concern is if I put the new address on my arrival card in a few days it won't match what is on immigration system and will cause problems?

The legally correct way is to write on the arrival card the address where you will spend the first night, then within 24 hours of moving to the new apartment notify Immigration of your new address.

I assume you'll return to the old apartment first to pack up, so put that address on your TM6 arrival/departures card.

You then need to file a change of address, form TM28 and almost certainly a new TM30.

File for a new extension same day once you've changed your address.
