Flooding eases in Yala and Ranong but flood situation remains serious elsewhere in South

BANGKOK: -- Flooding in Yala and Ranong has gradually eased but the flood situation in eight other southern provinces remain serious, said Mr Chatchai Promlert, director-general of Public Disasters Prevention and Mitigation Department, on Sunday.

Thaicom offers alternative to satellites plan
