There are many places where you can just walk from one Country to another or just take a boat across the river without any border checks
djayz
This is the funniest story I've read in a long time. A 16 year old caught up in human trafficking... lmao!

This is Thailand; 25 in a pick-up is an unnoteworthy practice. A 16 year old driver is perhaps a little unexpected but not unusual. What will be truly surprising is if the police catch Mr. Big. "What will be truly surprising is if the police catch Mr. Big", -what I can't help thinking is Mr Big drinking beer with the big guy of BIB(not in uniform of course) somewhere in a discrete corner of a 5 star hotel. Well, they talking about business and need a quiet corner. The problem is you Farang sometimes don't understand how things work in Thailand. Mr Big and Chief of BIB are buddies. Mr Big leaves a big tip for the young cute waitress who brought the beers saying, "Na Rak, ni hai gin Kafay" - Human trafficking is good business otherwise why do you think it goes on and on. You are using *What you probably think* as being a fact . The problem that us felangs have in Thailand is that the locals sometimes speak without factual basis . The business is good enough to pay off someone who is willing to go to prison for you for an agreed sum of money. The guy drinking beer with chief of BIB is not Mr Big himself. He works for Mr Big. If Mr Big is not clever he wouldn't survive in this business, plain and simple. He got lots of money to back up for a start.

wakeupplease
Maybe Mr BiG and Chief of police are the same guy and in this case he forgot to send himself a brown envelope or the contract was cancelled due to lack of tourists, Shame for Cambo guys who got up early for a days work. people trafficking in Thailand does not happen so PM said, a bit more of what comes out of a bulls rear me thinks Haircuts look ok same as Thais but with a blur for special immigration effect and they look smart so def a tourist type job Thailand’s strategic location makes it an investors’ gateway to Asia. It is at the center of most ASEAN countries, including Myanmar on the west, Cambodia Being a member of ASEAN I thought was a bit like EU but no you still need a work permit or Mr Big aka BoyIn B
Geoff Snell
WOW what a coincidence!!!!!!! Built my ex girlfriend's house in Khok Sung and lived there on and off from 1999 to 2003 and every day drive past the cop shop with the regular bunch of Cambodians camped under the big shady tree beside the police station. (They were never any problem and that is just the way of life there. They used to, or still do, work the rice fields there. Never a problem.) The police would just send them back at the Aranyapretet border then they would make their way back over the mountains just east of Khok Sung. Um if you just take a little tour around the Thai border I think you will be able to answer your own question. No problem for Cambodian Burmese and Lao people just looking for a bit of work
