SCB to briefly shut down ATM system for upgrade

BANGKOK: -- The Siam Commercial Bank will temporarily shut down its ATM system from Friday at 11 pm to Saturday at 5 am to upgrade its ATM system and enhance its service quality, the bank announced Tuesday.

During the service suspension customers will be unable to use ATM, debit, or credit cards at SCB and other bank ATMs/CDMs, and will be unable to use debit cards to make payments via EDC.
