Ed Visa Last 90 day extension got 60 days

Featured Replies

I have a question.

On my last 90 day extension for my 12 month Thai Language ed visa I was informed by the school that I would get 60 days.

The reason given by the school, was that you are given 90 days from the date you took your Thai Language Test at the MOE.

That seemed a little  strange because I took that test prior to the previous  90 day extension.

They also mentioned  that the intermediate portion of the course was five months hence one extension of 90 and another of 60. .

Can anyone enlighten me? I'm baffled.

Is the ed visa a 12 month visa or not?

I wouldn't be too concerned but I pay the school three times the regular amount for  the privilege of getting  just another 60 days.

Thanks in advance.

If you do a 5 month course you can stay 5 months, not a year

The visa you got was only valid for 3 months and gave you a 90 day entry.

You can get a total stay of 12 months by doing extensions of that 90 day entry if you qualify for the extensions.
