PATTAYA, 17th January 2017 (NNT) - Royal Thai Police in Pattaya have partnered with international NGO to open a new Child Advocacy Center.

Thailand's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (TICAC) together with an international anti-human trafficking organization, A21 has now opened the Child Advocacy Center of Thailand - Pattaya.

As a response to the government's policy of ending child trafficking and sex tourism, the center aims to improve the protection of trafficked and exploited children in an effort to reduce trauma, promote restoration and increase the number of prosecutions of traffickers.

The services are designed to take a victim-centered approach. Within a safe environment, the Child Advocacy Center will allow victims of trafficking to speak to forensically trained interviewers about the trauma they have experienced or witnessed.

The Director of TICAC task force, Police General Tamasak Wicharaya today disclosed that the child trafficking situation in Thailand has improved. The number of human trafficking cases the country prosecuted in the last year was significantly increased from 2015, while 86% were successfully resolved.

About time they take sex with minors and trafficking serious, hope Sunee Plaza is on their agenda, use to stay in that area and even saw politicians arriving back to hotel and have young guys entering the back door to the hotel after paying tip to the reception. It's a disgusting place that should been cleaned out years ago.
