gdgbb Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 I'm surprised that they didn't ask for advice here on Thaivisa before the search was wrapped up, there's usually more than a few experts available.
optad Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 The immensity of that ocean is mad. It depths at 4000+ metres and that mountain ridge running from the antarctic to Sri lanka is impossible to truly quantify. Impossible task.
malibukid Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 the mystery will be solved eventually but not with present tech. eventually the entire undersea topography will be mapped.
oldsailor35 Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Obvious that they are looking on the wrong side of the Malay Penninsular.
freebyrd Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 It's sad, but eventually they had to call it a day. Just like the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, there has to be and endgame......and then every theory in the book, and a few that aren't, come out to air......
Michael8511 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 It's sad that we probably never will get the truth. They have found debris in Africa and Seychelles. They say no radar images of the aircraft was seen at Diego Garcia or Re'union but if the aircraft passed there in low attitudes it may have been eliminated and we will never know. Just curious why they don't search that area.
