Selling Drugs on Walking Street

Police catch Thai male selling drugs on Walking Street

 

PATTAYA: -- At around 8:30pm on January 16th, Pattaya police were called down to Walking Street to investigate a potential suspect, thought to be selling drugs to foreign tourists.

 

The suspect was reported be a foreigner, who called police after he had been approached and pushed into buying some drugs, which he politely declined. Police made their way onto the scene and quietly observed the suspect, before moving in.

  

They immediately searched the suspect, 26 years old and found what they were looking for. A total of 22 ‘yabaa’ tablets were found, as well as some crystal meth or ‘ice’ as it’s commonly referred to.

 

After questioning, the suspect received that the drugs were actually his, but were fake. Instead of the suspected ‘yabaa’ and ‘ice’, he told police that they were made up of legal drugs such as paracetamol, and that he was selling them to tourists as a way of getting money to pay for his room and food.

 

Police were not buying this excuse at all, and did not believe that the drugs were fakes. The arrested the suspect and took him down to the station for more questioning. He will be held until further tests are done on the drugs, to find out exactly what they are. Once the police have the full report, they will then proceed to file the appropriate charges against the man.

Stupid guy, any one could tell him he has to pay the BIG maffia before start selling.

Now he has to face them anyhow 

 

Even if they were fake it wouldn't make any difference to the crime in the UK, if he said they were amphetamine then he would be charged with supply of amphetamine.

 Big night clubs pay 300,000 per month to stay open all night on WS to the same guys who arrested this small fry.

Wow! They cracked the pattaya connection! The streets will be drug free now and our children will be safe.

Apart from the design, is there a difference between Ice and Yabaa? Both are meth. So the effect is the same??

If I was paying that kind of protection insurance I sure would not want riff raff outside my doors selling drugs. It would give my business a bad name.

I prefer the better class of drug dealer myself, one who arrives in his BMW or similar, classy but not too flashy

Yabba is a pill that you swallow, Ice is crystal that you smoke.

I imagine the difference is in the speed and intensity of the high, similar to the difference between snorting a line of coke and smoking crack cocaine.

I understand the pill is heated and broken up, then smoked also. All that crap is bad anyway snort, smoke, shoot all no good.

actually yabba is usually smoked as well, but I dont think its as pure as ice, has a bit of caffeine mixed in, so Ive heard

They are different chemicals, one being a sulphate, i.e. the sulphuric acid salt, the other being hydrochloride, i.e. the hydrochloric acid salt.  That may make a sustantial difference to the effect, it may not, I don't know, but the chemical structure is not identical.  It can also be noted that both have low boiling points and thus are both possible to smoke.

 

My understanding of the issue, is that recreational drug users smoke yabba, while workers using yabba for extra energy throughout the day, eat them.

Probably not.  Caffeine pills are harder to get than yaba here.

Great news.  I've been looking for years.  The pharmacies all told me they weren't available- I had to buy the caffeine with vessel dilators (Cafergot) for migraine.  Back home, I use caffeine by itself.

 

Thanks for setting me on the path.  Now, back to our regularly scheduled topic....

Now I know why Fred Flintstone always says Yabba Dabba Do when he jumps of his dinosaur at the end of the work day.
