There recently was an article saying getting a DL was now easier. Kaspersky said the post was infected so wouldn't let me open it. Can someone please tell me what it said?

Cheers!

From memory there are more motor schools being set up,  my Thai friend got his DL by going to one where we live.

People get a certificate or letter from the school and present it at the DLT for DL.

Don't know whether or not schools will take farangies though.

Certain driving schools around the country are being licenced to issue certificates and as Kwasaki states which the applicant then takes to the DLT centre and gets their licence - whether they still have to do the basic vision/reaction tests or sit the computer test was not made clear in the article. Did your friend have to do this?

Supposedly to get the certificate the applicant has to complete the required driver training with the school...............

I cant remember the no of schools initially licenced offhand but more are due to be licensed.
