Environmental Problem

A friend has a problem with a factory near her burning toxic waste on almost a daily basis. She wants to report it and get the authorities to investigate. She has tried the police but had no joy.

Does anyone have any idea which government department would deal with this and if possible a number?

What area is she in? Presuming she is a little out of town the Or Bor Tor or the local kamnan or pu yai ban etc.

Might be good idea though to find out who owns the factory before you complain.

Sally has a good suggestion. Out of town, the village people can get together, contact the OBT and get some action, not always and not always fast but they have been successful in my area getting rid of factory and pig farm stink, even a cell phone tower was taken down after villagers objected.
