Yes, I did understand it was the starting salary “for a simple admin job” which I do not know how you define, but you did mention spreadsheet work and complained about the poor skills of Thai labour.

 

As this thread is about how much to pay for “easy office job” I simply wanted to add my view that 11,000 baht/month is too little. In my experience, you won’t even find a good cleaning lady for this salary.

 

Sorry to have caused you so much annoyance.

An 11k starting salary for a non-degree holder is not uncommon-but not much can be expected in terms of performance. 

 

As soon as they learn how to do the job properly (e.g. use a spreadsheet), they will probably apply for a different job with a higher salary elsewhere.
