rooster59 Posted January 21, 2017 Share Posted January 21, 2017 Police arrest Korean gang running online gambling operation in Pattaya Picture: Daily News Police in Pattaya have arrested four South Korean men who were allegedly running gambling websites. Following a tip off, police raided what is described as a “luxury property” in the Nong Prue area of the city in the early hours of Saturday morning. Following the raid, police arrested Choi Song Min, 35, Han Kyoreh, 26, Jeong Kyuji, 35, and Bae Jonghwan, 26. Police also seized a large amount of computer and electronic equipment including four computers, eight monitors, six hard drives and numerous ledgers detailing bets. Ten password generators were also found. Daily News reports the men have confessed to their involvement. They reportedly told police they were each paid 60,000 baht per month to run the operation, which mainly catered for gamblers in South Korea. The men said they were hired by an unknown individual who they had never met. The men are currently being held at Banglamung police station. Not very smart guys. There are many countries that allow these operations, and also are cheap for living in. Just not very smart. Really dumb!
