Another arrest warrant against Dhammachayo

 

 

BANGKOK: -- Police have sought a warrant from Phang-nga provincial court for the arrest of former abbot of Wat Dhammakaya, Phra Thepyarnmahamunee or Phra Dhammachayo, and another accomplice for alleged forest and public land encroachment to build a monastery.

 

Pol Gen Srivara Rangseepromnakul, the deputy national chief, said on Wednesday that the request for arrest warrant against the embattled former abbot of Wat Dhammakaya and Mr Petch Kamsap followed investigation by police and forest officials into alleged forest encroachment on Yao island off Phang-nga for the construction of a monastery under the Muk Tawan project of Wat Dhammakaya.

Another day and another warrant.  Is the temple still circled by hundreds of police trying to get in.

I can see the reply from monk: "Oh I am sooooo ascared of you...." rolls eyes

Thought this was some big joint operation with the military, DSI and the police.  Perhaps the military and the DSI started to feel embarrassed, so they just handed it back to the police.   Wise move on their part if that is what they did.  

Why do they need another warrant, has the table got one leg too short.

Shouldn't the headline read: Another joke in a never-ending story?

Why not just place a Take-a-Number Ticket Dispenser at the wat entrance for issuing warrants?

"Now Serving No. 15."

Eventually Dhammakaya will be the last monk standing (asuming he's still in the wat) - should be easy to apprehend.

 

Why does this have to be publicized ? They should be able to get a warrant, execute it and inform the public after the Abbott is in custody. 

It's a shame they can't issue some balls instead of a warrant.

The police can issue a thousand arrest warrants for all the good it's going to do them.

He has made himself the flavor of the day. Like the bridge game raid they are leaving no stone unturned his whole operation is under a microscope. He has brought matters to the tipping point by giving the cops the run around and making them look well lets say inferior. The will now snow him under in arrest warrants. 

Wouldn't one warrant be sufficient to arrest him?

If they received rewards for each warrant issued, they would all be millionaires by now.  On the other hand, if the rewards were for actual action and arrests, they would all be living in cardboard boxes under a bridge.

Maybe waiting for the 'saucer' to lift off and go away.

What is the point of issuing another arrest warrant if they can't serve the ones they already have open against him?

he can autograph them and sell them as "Relics" to the believers. Worth more than a simple amulet. An arrest warrant in his name is guaranteed to keep you safe from any police action for years to come...

 

The Temple souvenir shop will be glad to sell them...
