junglechef
Have an Burmese Officer's Chair that need a few replacement pieces of wood to frame the rattan back. Any ideas where would fix this for me?
orang37
Hi, If you are driving south on the Chiang Mai - Lamphun river road (east side of the Pi ng) from the main bridge: pass the Kavila Military reservation; at the left-side turn-off that would take you to the Gymkhana Club ... Thanon Ratuthit ... directly across from the turn onto Ratuthit the Chiang Mai - Lamphun highway west side of the road, is a small shop with restored furniture, most of it teak. The man has done some good work for me with various wood repairs and restorations at reasonable prices. I don't know if he ever works with rattan, but, if he doesn't, I think it likely he would know someone who does. cheers, ~o:37;
