Application for extension of stay

Featured Replies

I am going to Sisaket in 3 weeks time with a Non Immigrant O SEV based on retirement and it is my intention to apply for a 12 month extension of stay.

I would be truly grateful for any information regarding the correct procedure to follow and what necessary documentation I am likely to require.

Many thanks in advance

Establish an address but tm28/30 varies.  Have seasoned bank account.  Form tm7. And photo.

Thanks for the response; unfortunately I will only be opening a Thai bank account when I arrive.  Will this cause problems for me?

The seasoning is 60 days on the first extension...so maybe not.

Maybe I should have stated that the retirement visa was granted on proof of income and not savings

Have seasoned bank account.

Or alternatively a letter from your Embassy confirming minimum monthly income equal to 65,000 THB.

EDIT: Crossed with your post indicating that you would be seeking an extension based on income!

Thank you for the responses KhonKaenKowboy and OJAS and I have since found the thread on Important Immigration Information.

Best regards to you both

I would report my address immediately to avoid fines....proof of address can have a surprise trickiness.
