How long would 20k (Australian) last in Thailand?

Haven't read the whole thread but if you were determined to be cheap, come to Soi Dao near Chantaburi, join the gym at Green Mountain Club, rent a nice room and eat street food all doable for less than 10k a month. Double that If you want entertainment go to the local karaokes and rent Cambodian women if you need to, triple if every day. Only thing is, no farang anywhere in sight and little English, I think this would be enough to deter you.

It`s a silly question to begin with. I could probably hire some high class hookers and spend that amount within a week, or live like my poorest Thai neighbours and spread that amount of money over a period of 8 years.
