Hello! would you be able to throw some light on what happens to dependents' visa's if my Non-B visa is cancelled as i move to another job? the new job does not support dependent visa.

If you are working for a company all jobs allow for dependent extensions (not visas) if you get a extension of stay.

As soon as your extension ends their's also end and it requires them to apply for new extension when you get yours.

Hi Ubonjoe, thanks for your quick feedback. i was wondering whether i can just let them stay on with me here even after my current visa is cancelled by the current company.....i am unable to get them extension after joining the new place. so was planning to let them stay on and then exit after a few months assuming that the immigration department's systems arent so well updated that it would link up the two visa's. am i right in assuming so?

Why do you think you will not be able to get them new extension when you change employers. If you are able to get an extension they can get them.

I would not risk them staying without getting new extensions or going out for visas. If you cancel your extension their is a very good chance theirs will also be canceled.
