Has anyone been to Thi Lor Su waterfall RECENTLY?

 

I have been told there is no longer access for private 4WD vehicles to the campsite by the waterfall. that you have to take everything up by the local song teaws....

 

I phoned the NP office and they didn't really inspire confidence - had a very, very strange conversation which seemed to indicate the campsite was open and I can drive there.

however I don't want to drive all the way to Umphang and beyond just to be turned away.

 

 

PS - I went camping there a couple of years ago - no problem.

PPS - Yes, I know it is closed to vehicles from May to October.
