Ladyboy steels iphone 6 from Chinese tourist

PATTAYA: -- At around 2:30am on February 3rd, Pattaya police were called to the scene of a robbery that had taken place, involving a ladyboy.

At the scene, police found the victim, Mr. Zhou Ce, a 24 year old Chinese tourist, waiting patiently for assistance. The incident took place at the bottom of soi 6/1, at the Beach Road end.

Mr. Zhou Ce told police that he was walking along the footpath alone, when he was suddenly approached by what he thought was a good looking young lady. However, a closer look confirmed that it was, in fact, a lady boy.

Mr. Zhou Ce quickly declined any offers made by the lady boy and started to walk away. About a minute later, he reached for his iphone from his pocket worth around 20,000 Baht, only to find out it was missing. He ran back to where he had been stopped by the lady boy, but he was long gone.

A local vendor assisted the victim by calling for Police, who arrived onto the scene pretty quickly. Mr. Zhou Ce told police that it was dark so he couldn’t really remember exactly what the thief looked like. Police are now looking through CCTV images from the area in an attempt to capture the thief and return the iphone to its rightful owner.

Ummmmmmmm . . . Soi 6/1 at 2:30 am?  I know you're a tourist, but what did you expect?

Camp Chinese lurking in the shadows of Soi 6/1.

Hmmm

Had to end in tears.

Why does it seem that whenever a crime is committed in Pattaya it gets blamed on ladyboys, surely these gentle, kind and mis-understood individuals must feel the whole world is against them at times :cheesy:

Pattaya police getting commended for arriving quickly!!!

It may be a question of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but Beach Rd is a main thoroughfare and the bottom of soi 6/1 cannot be avoided. As to 02.30, well Pattaya is an all night type of place, with many bars open until 3am and discos much much later. The thieving freaks should be rounded up.

Is the person in the picture the Chinese tourist or the ladyboy ?

Why so? I do too according to the wife.....

It happens everywhere in the world - you can only go by personal experience- friends were robbed in Rio ( after 30 mins arriving at hotel by knifepoint ) Barcelona- one was robbed on plane going there! Paris, London- don't even think about taking anything valuable to ex Soviet Union countries.

My bf has a bit of gold- everything is locked in the monster safe-  he would not dream of going out in town  with a  gold necklace etc

If I travel- always check safety etc in that country. It's not difficult .

He simply didn't enable the "Find My iPhone" option. Or come the Chinese versions without it?

Most copied item in China is currently the iPhone 6S

Well they're only based 3 soi's away. ?

I can see the ladyboy in the photo but where is the Chinese tourist.

I was wondering when we'd get another Ladyboy story. They seem to have been quiet in Pattaya lately. I guess they need money for the next round of meds.

I was told this a long time ago by a lady of impeccable reputation, and an employee in an alcohol  establishment, where she was only ever the cashier. That The Pattaya police are well known for coming quickly.

Nothing new....next.....
