February 7, 20179 yr Mastermind in U Ko Ni’s murder still at large Burmese police are still hunting for the alleged mastermind who hired gunman to kill U Ko Ni, legal advisor to the National League of Democracy, the Irrawaddy News Online reported on Monday. The President’s Office announced last Friday that police had arrested Aung Win Zaw, allegedly the second conspirator, in Hpa-an in Karen state after he fled Rangoon. The alleged gunman, Kyi Lin, was arrested immediately after he shot dead U Ko Ni at the Rangoon international airport on January 29. Police have denied a report in the social media saying that Aung Win Saw and the alleged mastermind, Myint Swe, are the same person.
