BANGKOK — If you’re reading this between tissues and sneezes, you’re not alone.

Thailand’s in the grips of a particularly virulent influenza season that has already afflicted nearly 5,000 people and forced some schools to close, an official from the Disease Control Department said Wednesday.

As of Wednesday morning, 4,800 people were reported sick to the department with the Type A flu that is surging worldwide.

How are their immune systems ?   If they are taking antibiotics all the time, their immunes systems will never learn to fight off disease.

In Bangkok only or national area?

Influenza is a viral disease, not bacterial. Taking antibiotics makes bacteria mutate and adapt to them, it has nothing to do with viruses, immunity or influenza.

Get your facts together if you're going to imply you're smart and they are dumb.

'Flu is caused by a virus.

I agree. Most Thai children are also fully "immunised", which is a recipe for disaster in the form of an impaired immune system (not to mention impaired brain function due to the aluminium and other neurotoxins including contaminants in the vaccines).

I also wouldn't be surprised if the flu symptoms are in reality caused by the constant chemtrail aerosol spraying over Bangkok (and other parts of Thailand) which results in strontium, barium, fluoride, nanoparticles of aluminium and other nasties being breathed and ingested by us.

In 2009, possibly as a result of chemtrail spraying (also referred to as geoengineering), the students at the school where I was teaching suffered from respiratory illness said to be caused by the flu. A nurse then came to the school and vaccinated about 2500 students whose parents had consented to the shot. In my opinion sheer child abuse. Watch the video.

Pales to insignificance compared to your rudeness
