Firefox looses Favicons after restart

Hi

 

I use the latest version of Firefox on Win7. Since a few days, favicons get lost on Tabs after a restart of Firefox. I recognized that the entry to show favicons under about:config is disabled.

 

When i set it to "true" , the favicons come back. After a restart the value is set back to "false". I didn't install new add-ons.

 

Some ideas?
