30 years ago, before I understood what sleep walking really was, I used to jump out of bed at 3:00 in the morning and run around cleaning my apartment as if someone was coming over.  I have no doubt I could have penned a letter on any one of those ridiculous (in hindsight) occasions.  

 

Look up all the stuff people have been arrested for doing while sleep walking under the influence of Ambien and the like.

 

It's possible he was sleep walking.  I have no idea what the odds were, but it's possible.

I could have.  Easily.  But that wasn't in my dream.  I just had someone coming over to visit.

 

My point is that sleep walking isn't always like you see in the cartoons.  Add an influence like Ambien and it can be tragic  Occasionally at no fault of the sleep walker.

Lots of assumptions here. Did he jump for instance? So many jumpers in Thailand when there are easier and less horrific ways to do it without jumping if you are so inclined. For the family and friends lets let the coroner decide.( Lots of people are pushed}
