7 days late for 90 day report?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Somehow I mixed up the dates and I am now 7 days late for my 90 day period. If memory serves me right, there is some sort of grace period and the max fine is 500 baht, correct?

I plan to go to CW tomorrow as it's a holiday so it will be exactly 7 days from when I should have done my report.

If someone could clarify the consequences - if any - that'll be great!

The 7 days include the nominal due date.

Today (closed) would be last chance for due date Feb 7.

I don't know whether they stretch the grace period due to the closing day, maybe not?

The minimum fine is 2000 Baht.

Be polite, smile, have a plausible excuse and find an officer in good mood and you escape for free.

Good luck.

I was under the impression that the maximum fine is THB 2000. If this is the minimum, what is the actual maximum?

2000 baht is the minimum,I've heard but cannot confirm the maximum is 8000 baht

The standard fine is 2000 baht for late reporting with a max fine of 5000 baht. There is no minimum fine.

i was 14 days late recently....I thought no....now I'm cooked.

My thai lady reported for me while i waited in the car....a few smiles later....all is good.

2000 thb is the start and you get a nice stamp for free in your passport.

The issue is you have to tell you are late. Then the change is with today that they not will count the day of today.

5,000 baht plus 200 baht for everyday a due fine remains unpaid.

They can charge 4,000 baht if arrested for failing to report.
