British tourist drowns in snorkeling tragedy during dream trip to paradise island in Cambodia

Featured Replies

A British tourist has died after drowning on a snorkeling trip during a dream holiday.

Aisha Roberts got into difficulty while swimming in waters around paradise island Koh Rong in Cambodia on Tuesday afternoon.

Pals frantically searched for the 32-year-old when they emerged from the sea to climb back into their rented boats and realised she was missing.

Her body was later found washed up on a nearby beach.

Staff from the Koh Rong Dive Center discovered Aisha's body but said the group had not been on one of their expeditions.

Rule No.1 drummed into you ceaselessly by the B.S.A.C. training course is that you NEVER go into the water alone. R.I.P.

Guess she'd learned that, as that wasn't the problem. You'll need to come up with a solution for getting out of the water with her friends.

Sad.

Terrible.  RIP.
