A waste of a poor quality copy and paste, the Brexit vote was based on other reasons.

I'm surprised by this move by Blair but really is changing your mind really that bad if the initial decision was a bad one?

He has not changed his mind and the decision was good, stick to trump bashing

How Blair the Champagne Socialist has the gall to try and overthrow a democratic decision by the British people and state that Leave voters "did not have all the facts" just goes to show the contempt he has for the public with his I know best attitude.

The traitor should hang his head in shame.

Great response - good to be reminded of the complete sell-off of the UK's wealth also called 'the family silver' by Thatcher and her accolades. Much appreciated to see it all listed - and I think you forgot the nuclear development industry in the shape of Amersham International, which was government controlled. I'd also like to see the salaries and endless bonuses of the fat-cat bosses of these privatised enterprises as compared to the salaries of the civil servants who ran them previously. And please don't tell me they're all super-efficient and cheaper now - my backside!

Blair is another sterling member of the society of war criminals and should be locked up in the slammer and the keys should have been thrown away. He, like Kissinger, Nixon and Bush, are those guys Planet Earth should be getting rid off rather sooner than later.

that chump blair doesn't have an ounce of credibility left.

Very possibly, but he's correct about this.

whether or not Brexit turns out to be good or bad ( I believe the latter) is not the point.

The fact is that the cynical Con Party ARE driving the lemmings over a cliff!!

Having foolishly emasculated the Lib Dems there is no leash on the slavering blood thirsty dogs.

Meanwhile, Labour is dead. Too worried about teachers' unions and LGBT rights to be concerned with the average British family.

Anyone for tennis?

Nixon is dead; keep up....

Which Bush? Or don't you care? Any bush? Maybe one with two birds in it?

Scary - that so many can believe lies and not see further than their noses.

Vote for Brexit and hand control to us, er I mean take control back. And people lapped it up.

You can thank the governments for the asset stripping of country, and the British public for doing absolutely nothing. Patriotism is completely dead in the UK!

What's sad is that Blair, and occasionally Brown, after all they screwed up and sold out on, still come back with comments like they're wonderfully never done wrong past greats.

However Blair is correct that the British people were lied too. They were lied to about many things and have been in the past.

Now, it seems there is no credible choice to the Tories. And aren't they starting to love that. Good that the Supreme Court judges stood firm or May would be using her "Royal prerogative" all the time.

Dread to think about the next election - will we be over the Brexit cliff, swimming about in no man's land, with no opposition, labor disappearing up Corbyn's arse? Liberals largely forgotten? SNP still demanding the 127th referendum as they can't get the result they like?

There are no credible robust leaders in any party who look remotely capable to lead the UK out of the self inflicted shit.

Where's a Churchill, or Atlee or Lloyd George when you need one?

Tories decimated industry and Labor even flogged off Gold reserves cheaply. Both clamored to sell off the assets to keep their banker mates happy with privatization.

And some still think that governments, being elected, actually govern in the interests of the people.

I thought it was Gordon Brown that sold the gold - at rock bottom prices.

Blair is totally deluded to think that he has any credibility, the dodgy dossier and immunity to Irish Republican murderers, but in his own words "I am a straight guy". In his dreams perhaps.

Guardian - that explains a lot! Blair has never been correct or truthful.

But the biggest lie was that told by Heath to the people of the UK in 1972.

The EU is a scam, it's failing and it's time to get out.

In fact it was never time to get in!

His best before date was 1927. He wasn't even born then and could do no harm.

Hated Blair when he was PM - he and Iraq were two of the reasons I got out of the Brit version of Dodge!

However, I'm sad to see posters stating the referendum was only about immigration. The vote was called by Cameron as a ruse against Johnson usurping him as PM. The British people were simply used in a sick game of political maneuvering. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, thanks for this reminder that ALL the politicians (whether Tory, Labour or Lib-Dem)  who committed these crimes against British assets and infrastructure were solid supporters of the EU....

That's a rather sweeping statement, I'd love to see your proof of that.

Whereas those that haven't supported the EU would have gone further if they could.

It is worth noting WITH UKIP that the current leader, previous two leaders beforehand, only MP and main financial backer have all advocated privatization of the NHS.

First (& only) time I had an adult argument with my parents (working class, staunch Labour supporters) was over Blair.

I had him down as a sycophant who would do & say anything to progress #his personal# Agenda (<deleted> the guy converted to Catholic to get his current job, what next? Convert to Islam to be the Shah of Persia?), parents hated the tories so would vote for any muppets the Labour party could stand up (including Michael Foot!)

Hate to say "I told you so" but boy do my parents have a worse opinion of Blair than I've ever had...

You have always had exactly the same opinion of Blair as I have always had. I withdrew my support for the Labour party when he became leader.

Sorry, I can't send you proof (it would be a tedious task to go back over nearly 30 years or more), but I am going on my (perhaps fading) memory that no Cabinet minister ever resigned to protest against the process of privatization.

And Blairite Labour were just as bad as the Tories.

In fact, in another Blairite caper (the invasion of Iraq) only one Cabinet minister resigned in protest, Claire Short.  Shameful.

Yes I would like to see Blair (oozing with his usual sincerity) explain how he became convinced of Purgatory and the Efficacy of Indulgences and also how Transubstantiation became an obvious, simple truth in his mind.
