Quite reasonable - but why not years earlier?

But what could have been expected by a shin government and one of their crooks?

Thaksin's passport issued/authorized by Surapong Tovichakchaikul  should be revoked without delay, if it hasn't been already.  Start the hearing next week, no need to delay to next month.

Don't get carried away, give him time to visit his cousin in Dubai for about 30 years or so.

impeachment - isn't that normally done to current office holders? or maybe inactive post occupiers?

Well never the less who allowed Mr T to travel to the Beijing Olympics', when facing charges , on the proviso that he return and he even gave his word..........................................:cheesy:

I just don't understand why they don't dispense with this silly pretense of "investigations", or "legality"?

Just use Article 44, seize all their assets, and throw all 20 million red-shirts in jail already.

All that money spent on prison might not leave enough for submarines.

Still fond of your puppet-master now, are you?

Impeachment doesn't have the same literal meaning here. It refers also to the process of bringing someone to book who though no longer in office committed some malfeasance whilst in office that hasn't yet been dealt with. So the penalty is not loosing the office but additional ones, such as banning for 5 years or whatever.

If you remember the Ombudsman did ask him and Yingluck to explain this and was fobbed over several times with the usual request for more time to prepare their answer. Things happen in their own way and timescales. At least the poor old Ombudsman and his successor(s) might get their answer now.

is it possible to have a day on TV without the Shins. I am starting to feel very very sorry for them the more I read, only social media is hated more by those who are in fear
